Nabab is an Indo-Bangladesh joint venture romantic thriller film directed by Joydeep Mukherjee. The film is produced by Abdul Aziz
and Himanshu Dhanuka under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay Movies. It stars Shakib Khan in lead role who plays an intelligence agent from Bangladesh tasked with a secret operation in West Bengal. Subhasree Ganguly plays the lead female role who falls in love with Khan. The film also features Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Amit Hasan, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Aparajita Adhya in supporting roles. The soundtrack album and background score of the film was composed by Savvy Gupta and Akassh. The film was released on 26 June 2017 on the holiday of Eid in Bangladesh and later in July in India.
